Gabrielle Watkins, Founder

Crossover Interiors got its start in 2019 as a passion project of Gabrielle Watkins, who has a lengthy history of giving life to indoor spaces through creativity and color. Gabrielle first came to the Atlanta area in 2005 at age 14, after leaving her home in New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. Though she arrived with nothing, she immersed herself in the Atlanta culture while still holding true to her New Orleans roots.

Gabrielle went on to get a degree in marketing from University of West Georgia, with a certificate in sales and advertising. During this period of her life, she studied abroad in both London and Paris. In her work, Gabrielle synthesizes French influences from New Orleans and Paris into her designs, infusing these small details of personal touch into the visions of her clients’ spaces. She also embodies the bohemian lifestyle as a reflection of being free, and effortlessly works this into the rooms she designs.

Gabrielle began her journey with merchandising in 2015, and started to realize her own visions in large spaces. She discovered her passion for sketching out her plans on paper and seeing her thought process come to life. Through sketching, Gabrielle is able to capture the potential of a space and create a concrete form of her vision, from staging and fixturing to small art pieces and details, before putting it into place. While merchandising for well-known brands, Gabrielle developed the skills needed to create a gorgeous space from a blank canvas. This eye for detail and ability to adapt clients’ visions and dreams to reality, while still infusing personalized touches, is the basis for Gabrielle’s project Crossover Interiors.
